In fact, eating a morning meal jump starts your metabolism for the day, allowing your body to burn calories and work to the best of it’s ability. Keep in mind, you never want to eat less then 1200 calories a day. Anything less then this is not enough to support your basal metabolic rate, or the amount of energy needed by your body to function while at rest.
