It really is your final destination; there is no going back. You will always be a mother. Perhaps you, and yours, are both new arrivals, or maybe you enrolled in “Mothers Know Everything U” many years ago. I was convinced that my own mother attended. She knew about every misdemeanor I committed. Mothers are a separate species, with eyes in the back of their head. Medical science has yet to define the phenomenon. Motherhood may present more challenges than in the past. Your caring hands are literally, and figuratively, full. Mothers are always under scrutiny. Outside influences on your children are a constant challenge (Where DID he learn that word?) Dealing with education, finances, peer pressure, discipline, and the media’s impact on your child are only a few of the challenges faced by today’s parents.
