In part 1, senior writer Katie Drummond invesitgates the history, uses, side effects, and effectiveness of using the pill. In addition, she takes a closer look at how the pill impacts female athletes. In part 2, she bring the voices of four women, with four different experiences, to life - shedding light on the ways that the pill affects women differently. In the final part, she explores alternative options to the pill. This series highlights both the pros and the cons to taking the pill. It is important to keep in mind that whether or not one decides to take the pill, or consider an alternative option, is an individual decision.
