While the grocery store has aisles of convenient bags and bars, nothing beats homemade when it comes to taste and nutrition. Skip the sugar, preservatives, and trans fats found in commercial granola bars with this protein-packed alternative. Nuts and seeds provide healthy fats, and soy protein gives a boost of isoflavones. You probably have most of these ingredients sitting around the kitchen, and you can find Ener-G egg replacement at a natural grocery.
