Move of the Day: Fast Feet Posted December 10, 2007 at 10:00 AM by Lindsay Hutton This move aims to increase foot movement and to improve foot function. It also helps to improve reaction time. This is a great exercise to include in your workout to help raise your heart rate between sets. You should have good balance before trying this exercise. To begin, stand up straight with your shoulders back and your knees slightly bent. Raise your arms so they are bent at the elbows at about 90 degrees and your fingers are pointed towards the ceiling. Moving to the side, complete the following stepping pattern: take a step sideways, cross step in front of that lead leg with the trailing leg, step to the side again with the lead leg, then cross step in back of the lead leg with the trailing leg.
