Move of the Day: Bosu Ball Side Lunge Posted November 3, 2007 at 07:00 AM by Lindsay Hutton With the winter months coming, those who ski are looking to get in shape to hit the slopes. The following exercise, using a bosu ball, is a great move to get your legs in shape for the powder. The bosu ball provides an unstable surface, which helps simulate a downhill ski slope. To begin, place the bosu ball next to you, about a stride length away. Keeping both of your feet facing forward, step to the side the bosu is on, stepping directly on top of it with your foot. Your weight should be distributed evenly throughout your foot; avoid coming forward on your toes. Bend at the knee so you are in a lunging position.
