There is actually a plethora of research to back up this claim. A recent study by Harvard researchers found that people who ate breakfast every morning were half as likely to have blood sugar problems, which for the short term promotes steady energy levels and for the long term reduces risk for diabetes and high cholesterol. I find that the majority of my clients who skip breakfast do so because they are in a rush and far too often, if they do opt for breakfast, they end up grabbing a white bagel and butter, which they devour on their commute to work.
