Dr. Heidrich is a six-time Ironman Triathlon finisher, and has won over 900 medals from races around the world, including over 60 marathons. A daily runner for 39 years, Dr. Heidrich overcame breast cancer in her forties, and credits her Vegan lifestyle as a major contributor to beating the disease and maintaining ongoing good health for the last 25 years.
