The old adage says an apple a day keeps the doctor away. I think eating nutritious foods is definitely one way to keep your body healthy. And being healthy is what keeps the doctor away. Apples are the perfect snack. They are small. You can wash them ahead of time and they are portable! When you keep the skin on, they are loaded with vitamin C and fiber. There is plenty of potassium in each apple. If you can’t stomach the raw fruit, try some apple juice (100% of course) or bake up an old-fashioned apple pie.
