Tip for Today: Wash Your Water Bottle

However, leaving it in the sun with small amounts of water or simply refilling it without cleaning it can lead to dirty bottles filled with not necessarily harmful, but definitely dubious, particles. Sure, you might not see a big fly floating but what about all the bacteria? Nothing is more effective than some hot water, soap and good, old-fashioned elbow grease. Be sure to let the bottle air dry completely before refilling it. Don’t forget to wash the cap too!

    Yes, bacteria is not good, but also a lot of plastics give off chemicals when heated. Probably a lot worse than the bacteria.
