drinkMore research is showing that the idea of aiming for 8 glasses of water a day is a myth. What is not a myth, however, is the need to stay hydrated. What’s important to know is that juice and tea can have the same hydrating effects as water. The benefits include, and are not limited to, an increase in your overall energy, the removal of toxins from the body, help with weight loss (as you feel fuller longer) and keeping skin healthy. If plain water is too boring for you, spruce it up with a lemon wedge or even a cucumber slice. If that doesn’t work try different fruit juices (made of 100% juice) and hot and cold teas.
