For example, have you always wanted to take up running? Sign up for a road race! Having a goal to strive for will help get you in the mindset of working out. Just remember, start small and work your way towards bigger goals gradually. If you have never run before, signing up for a marathon might be considered a bit ambitious, if not downright unwise. However, a 5k road race is certainly an achievable goal. Remember, slow and steady wins the race!
