Although this move is advanced, it is a great exercise to strengthen the chest and core. Using a stability ball also helps to work on balance by forcing you to engage your core.
To begin, roll yourself out on the ball so your palms are flat on the floor, and your feet are on top of the ball. Your arms should be extended so your body is in a straight line from your shoulders to your feet. Once you are in position, draw your knees into your chest. Your knees will bend and the ball will roll in towards your body. Straighten your legs back out. Once your legs are straight, perform a push up. Repeat this movement 10 times.
Remember: Do not allow your back to sag; keep your core tightened to avoid this. Also, the further out you roll yourself on the ball, the harder this move wil be. To begin, start with the ball positioned right below your knees and move up to having the ball under your ankles.
